    Howdy all,

    I'm looking to export footage from premiere pro into 50i Mpeg-2 format. does anyone know the best way to go about this, what additional software/codecs I may require and where best to obtain them?

    Any help would be grand.

    yeah, dump premiere and use sony vegas with the mpeg2 plugin. or get a plugin for premiere.

    personally i dump everything out as a 'flat' DV file and then use stuff like sorenson squeeze to encode for alternate codecs/platforms in a batch.

    Cheers for the info,

    After further delving I realised that Premiere does indeed have the relevant encoders I need.

    Serves me right for jumping the gun.
